Simon has been involved in the creation of (and performance with) musical instruments and giant monster puppet/costumes made from recycled materials and waste over the past 20 years: “Junkadelic” in Perth, Western Australia, “Funky Junk” in Wellington, and is also the creator and director of the Alien Junk Monsters.
Simon has run workshops and performances at numerous locations and festivals such as WOMAD. He has a passion for the creative use of waste material and encouraging others along the same path.
