Performer Expression of Interest for 2019
We want you! As New Zealand’s largest children’s literary festival, Beyond the Page provides an opportunity to create an environment where whānau and communities can come together to experience the other side of literature, narrative, and stories through events that are energetic, entrepreneurial, tech-driven, and adventurous.
After two wildly successful and exciting years, we are excited to announce that Beyond the Page will be back in 2019 taking place 6 – 21 July at Libraries and community venues across the Wellington Region in Kāpiti, Porirua, Hutt Valley and Wellington City. Previous festivals have featured over 130 events, with over 5000 people attending.
We welcome artists, performers, authors, organisations and groups to complete an expression of interest to participate in the 2019 festival. Submissions may be for performances, workshops, installations, displays and exhibitions, live music and theatre, storytelling, spoken word, and dance, and should demonstrate their alignment with the core essence of the festival.
For more information or to discuss the submission process, please contact the festival Project Manager Adrienne Hannan on 021 227 8637 or email.
